🌿 Acne AWOL | Organic Plantain Salve for Acne, Dry, Red & Itchy Skin

This isn't mass production; it's healing, expertly made. Acne AWOL is formulated by Donna Cleary, a Clinical Herbalist and Registered Nurse with 13 years of experience at a Harvard teaching hospital. Her formulations draw on a hereditary Irish herbalism tradition documented to 1100 AD.

The same formula as our beloved Lose the Itch Salve — leading with its remarkable results for acne, scarring, and skin renewal.

A Symphony of Botanical Power

Plantago Major, Plantago Lanceolata, Rosemary, Peppermint, Organic Olive Oil, and Beeswax — each containing active plant compounds that demonstrate anti-inflammatory, antihistamine, antimicrobial, and skin-restorative properties in laboratory (in vitro) studies. Plantain contains aucubin and caffeic acid — compounds with a long history of traditional use for skin healing, itch relief, and supporting healthy skin cell turnover.

Why Acne AWOL?

• Acne & Skin Renewal: Plantain's active compounds are traditionally used to support healthy skin cell turnover — encouraging fresh, healthy skin to replace damaged, scarred, or acne-prone tissue

• Anti-Inflammatory & Antihistamine: Plantain contains natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine compounds traditionally used to provide relief from redness, swelling, and itchiness

• Antimicrobial Protection: Studies show plantain, rosemary, and peppermint extracts can inhibit bacterial growth — protecting broken or irritated skin and clearing acne-causing bacteria naturally

• Moisture Barrier: Beeswax forms a natural protective barrier that locks in moisture while allowing skin to breathe

• Microbiome-Friendly: No synthetic fragrances, no harsh chemicals, no disruption to your skin's natural ecosystem

Only Five Organic Ingredients

Organic Olive Oil, Plantago Major & Lanceolata, Organic Rosemary, Organic Peppermint, Organic Beeswax — nothing else.

Clinical Recommendation

For ongoing skin conditions, consider pairing with one of our Reishi mushroom blends for internal immune modulation — addressing the systemic root while Acne AWOL supports the skin directly.
